In Texas Hold'em you make your best five-card hand from any combination of your two hole cards and the five community cards. You don't have to use both hole cards – or either of them. The five community cards alone can be your best hand if they're good enough.

Calling a bet without checking whether the pot offers the right price is one of the most expensive habits in poker. If someone bets Rs 1,000 into a Rs 2,000 pot, you're getting 3:1 odds on your call. If you need to hit one of nine outs on the river, your odds of hitting are roughly 4:1 against. Bluffing is a real part of poker strategy on jjjt – but it has to tell a believable story. Bluffing on a board where you could plausibly have a strong hand is valid.
